Spring 2007

Bennettsville Middle School

*****Below is old CHP stuff.  Let me know what you want on this page, or if you want it deleted****

The CHP is nearly at capacity at both Hand and Crayton Middle Schools (as of January, 2006).  However, as students "graduate" from the program, more spaces will become available.  Students may still be referred to this program, but they may be placed on a waiting list for a short time.  Upon referral, the parent/guardian of the referred child will be given an information packet containing some questionnaires that will help determine if the CHP can best meet that child's needs.

To be eligible for a screening, students need to have difficulties with academic performance and/or classroom behavior.  Students previously diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD or ADD) are also invited to apply (although such a diagnosis is not necessary).  Please contact us for a complete explanation of eligibility.
